Since last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Environmental Protection issued a document to try out cement staggered production in the northern heating area in winter to deal with air pollution and relieve the pressure of overcapacity. This year, the scope of staggered production was expanded to all cement production lines in 15 northern provinces and cities. After entering the winter, due to the cold climate in the northern region, which is not conducive to construction, many construction projects have been suspended, and the demand for cement has dropped significantly. After the implementation of staggered production, the decline in supply will support cement prices. Conducive to boosting market demand, rising cement prices will increase profits.

　　

In addition, as a downstream industry of coal, the fall in coal prices will help the cement industry reduce costs. Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission has promoted coal companies to sign long-term agreements that are conducive to the stability of coal prices. With the gradual release of advanced production capacity, this round of coal prices may come to an end.
